FatMan Adventures

  // 15 января 2003 года

I want to introduce you a new brilliant Lode Runner remake named… «Gravitationally challenged person adventures».

Actually, the game’s name is Fatman adventures ( http://gameover-games.com/games/fatman ), but calling a spade a spade is a bad form. Let’s keep a political correctness ( http://www.euphoria.force9.co.uk/realhumour/html/jokes/politc.html ), OK? The main character is not fat at all; he’s just a bit overweight person. His weight has no relations to game process at all, so pointing everyone’s attention to excess weight is an inexcusable behavior.

So let’s talk about something beautiful. The graphics are superb, the sounds are cool. Really cool. For example, every time you collect similar diamonds the «ding!» sounds are not similar. Yeah, I know that it is not a big deal to make, say, 10 different sounds for «the diamond is collected». But why nobody did so?

The core gameplay remained the same: run, dig holes to trap monsters, collect treasures. However Fatman adventures has some slight additions like gun and cage, moving platforms, water, different bonuses, health, etc.

The demo version has only 5 levels to play. You have to pay $19.95 to get full version. Nothing is free in this cruel political uncorrect world.

MUST-SEE5 eyes award. Well, Fatman ( http://gameover-games.com/games/fatman ) have almost beat Gold Sprinter (another Lode Runner remake I reviewed).
