Well, OK. Today I gonna tell you about the best Lode Runner remake ever created. If you haven’t spent the last 60 years in an underground radiation proof shelter you should remember old classic concept of Lode Runner. You run around the labyrinth digging holes and gathering gold bars. Monsters try to prevent you from collecting all the goodies. Dig holes to trap monsters and to escape. Simple yet addictive.

Gold Sprinter is a precise remake of Lode Runner. The game has 4 level packs (brix legends, golden forest, industrial fever, kids pack) and one of them (brix legends) has the strong original spirit of Lode Runner.

Game concept remained perfectly the same, there’s no modern useless stuff like 3D. And that’s great. At least they didn’t spoil anything. Graphics are up-to-date anyway. Sounds and music are just fine.

Gold Sprinter is distributed on a shareware basis. It means that you have to pay $19.95 registration fee for this perfect piece of nostalgia.

So… Gold Sprinter is a perfect Lode Runner remake. I bet you won’t find anything better. If you want to show your kids the way great games of the past looked like — show them Gold Sprinter.
